WHAT IS MICROCHANNELING?

Microchanneling uses microneedles to penetrate the outermost layers of the skin creating small, controlled, micro injuries. These micro injuries stimulate a natural healing response, which in turn leads to the creation of new collagen and elastin (aka the building blocks of looking young and smooth). Over the course of several treatments, this repetitive process can create a new layer of collagen improving the overall appearance of your skin.

Microchanneling is an advanced form of microneedling. WHAT DOES IT TREAT?

WHAT IS THE DOWNTIME?

Microchanneling offers minimal downtime. The treatment typically induces 1-4 hours of mild redness, as well as a tight or “sunburnt” feeling for the first day. Some people may experience mild dryness. Clients will want to avoid exercise for 24 hours, and avoid exfoliation and direct sun exposure for about a week. Aftercare for the first week will be provided.

WHO CAN RECEIVE MICROCHANNELING?

Microchanneling is safe for all skin types, tones and concerns. If you have any underlying health condition that significantly impairs your immune system such as active radiation, chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past two years, hemophilia or a bleeding disorder, it is a good idea for you to avoid microchanneling. Microchanneling is not available to people who are pregnant or nursing, or to anyone with a stainless steel allergy.
